It was actually just an opportunity to get as many people as possible through the megastore to buy the new shirt :icon_wink

The only problem I have with that is if the event was solely staged to do that, i.e. there was nothing offered 'free' for the fans. That was patently not true.

There was a version of a training session with MA providing an entertaining commentary. Then there was a Q&A session which I suspect was also entertaining even if it contained little new or 'secret' information. (MA may be 'mental', but he would be an idiot to identify a transfer target before the deal is done).

This is no different to Disney or theme parks where the only way out is through the gift shop! The only difference here was it was free to get in!
