I'm not aware of what might or might not be happening on other forums. Perhaps those other forums would be the best place to make your point or by direct contact with the Trust.

You may well have a point but it is not necessary to be insulting to express it. Many people would agree with me that such insults detract from your making of the point.
Is it possible to have a definitive list of people who are allowed to be abused and what words are allowed to be used for each individual/organisation.

There appears to be a huge disparity in what is and what isn't allowed depending upon the poster. In fact, sometimes on here entire threads are given over to people abusing each other.

Finally, if we are going to be totally banned from insulting anyone else - are we allowed to indulge in self-abuse?

Forum Rules:
4. Personal abuse of other forum users is not permitted. If you disagree with what someone else says, say so and use whatever arguments you like to support your views. However personal attacks only suggest that you cannot support your views in any other way and are not allowed. They will be edited as and when moderators find such abuse. This is not censorship of your opinions, but a rule designed to ensure that we conduct a friendly debate. Remember - attack the argument and not the person.

It does seem that you can self-abuse as much as you want - but please don't send the pictures!

Can someone read this to me please, my eyesight appears to be failing for some reason and the hairs on the palms of my hands keep getting caught up in the moiuse.

Don't know much about the Foxes trust. It seems to be ridiculed here,

If that is happening - and I haven't seen any evidence of ridicule - then it must stop immediately (besides we have a more immediate target for the moment).

Dear Foxes Trust,

My question today is "How is your campaign to reduce season ticket prices coming along?"

Obviously so far the club has not listened, but as predicted sales are still poor.

So Disco Bob will you find more to celebrate if the prices remain unchanged, rather than them being reduced?

Have you got any figures to refute the club's claim that sales are in line with those of last year? How do interpret "in line" in this case?

We know the sales were around 600 towards the end of last weekend (which wasn't in line with the previous stage of last year). We haven't been able to "obtain" any information since that time. Certainly all ticket office staff have been told to play a straight bat & come out with the party statement "of being in line with last year"

In terms of "in-line" - we believe a like for like comparison, is the no of days away from the renewal deadline, so this year's 31st May = last year's 16th June.

Have you any idea of what "in-line" means?

Does it mean "the same sales as last year", or does it mean "taking all things in to cosideration, the forecasted sales compared to that of last year"?

ie; We sold 10,000 by this stage last year (hypothetically). This year the club thinks 5,000 sales is "in-line" with last years sales due to circumstance as they expect a 50% loss in sales.

Any idea? I aint?

I suspect that the position is seriously bad.

The club is rightly paying the price for failure to take the necessary timely action to bring in someone competent to avoid relegation. Mandaric simply bottled out, took his eye off the ball and allowed Holloway to take us into free fall.

Oh yes................

Update

Ticket office staff member today said "in-line with last year", when receiving a puzzled response, said "well maybe ahead of last year" - certainly seemed a party line being played.

Meanwhile via another trusted route we have been told the sales are well below last years level and when our prediction of ST's halving was discussed, the indications were that this was slightly pessimistic, but perhaps only by 1,000 or so

Another trusted route? As trusted as asking the staff in the ticket office who you infer are being coached into saying what someone else wants them to say?

Then you can't understand why people don't take you seriously?

How naive are you?

Do you really believe ST sales are the same as last year, surely just reading the message board posts on here & foxestalk would tell you that isn't true

We could post our source, but we don't want them sacked

No I don't, but I am perfectly capable of asking the ticket office myself how season ticket sales are going, and you are not the only people to have "inside knowledge" so you aren't coming out with anything we either didn't already know, or couldn't have worked out for ourselves.

Naive? Moi? You wish.

In fairness to the FT, my dad believes the stuff the club is saying about ST sales. When discussing the fact that the boards suggests the sales will be much lower, he sides with the club. Its important that someone digs deeper even if its so the non-messageboard user knows what is going on. I think everything the FT has said and done regarding this issue has been spot-on.
