Ranieri out

'tis all over, but they won't do it until after the drubbing on Wednesday

Might possibly until after next Monday, when we will be out of all competitions and bottom of the League

We have another couple of weeks before we can be out of the CL. And there is no shame in that. Being knocked out in the 5th round of the FA Cup is no shame. If we're bottom of the league it'll just be all the mors satisfying when we survive.

So loads of people are screaming for Ranieri to drop Morgan, Huth and Fuchs.

He does that. Chilwell is hailed as the new messiah but makes a mistake in the 90th minute, so Ranieri has to go?

Vardy, Musa, King and Okazaki cannot score in a brothel. Is that Ranieri's fault?

When are these overpaid pricks going to take responsibility and put a shift in?

And why do loads of people think that if they will not play for Ranieri they will play for anyone else, now that they have their honours and £10million contracts to provide their pension funds?

I hope that Ranieri can do enough with these ungrateful bastards to keep us up.

I then hope that the owners then tell Ranieri he can clear out the now dead wood, and the owners will bear the cost, and he can start building a new team with players who do give a ****!

There's an underlying problem beyond the players not performing on the pitch. BN was absolutely spot on in the Post Match thread; the problems are psychological. Ranieri just cannot rectify that as he doesn't have the ability to change their mental approach. There must be someone who does. It is very sad but if we stick with CR, we are doomed and will have little to no time to address the situation in the season break before trying to get promoted once more.

Keep us up? On what basis? That we cant defend, attack, compete or create in midfield? We are down. Claudio or no Claudio prepare for the championship.

I've been hoping that for a while but it really doesn't look like it's going to happen. I don't think the players will try for a new manager but unless we try then we won't know and that means accepting relegation....in February! We need to gamble on someone keeping us up and then ship what we can on in the summer. I'm sure the likes of Mahrez have already agreed moves, the back line duffers will be harder to shift.

He made them believe they could beat the best players and some of the best teams and win the league, when most 'experts' were screaming that it would be impossible. I think Ranieri knows a lot about player psychology.

Let's hope the players don't have that attitude.

Let's play the games before we admit defeat.

Really? They already had a winning mentality from the season before. They'd already built a team spirit to rival that of any other before he arrived. In terms of psychology, all he had to do was maintain the spirit that was already present and he did it brilliantly. This time around d there needed to be a totally different mental approach and Ranieri has not been able to create this. I'm not absorbing the players of blame, most ofnthem have been hopeless, but Ranieri is paid to constantly re-evaluate the psychological approach to games; he's failed to do this.

Wow. Am I drunk? Apologies for the typos but you know what I mean. ('absorbing' FFS!)

The manager, quite rightly received plaudits and was handsomely rewarded for the wonderful achievement of last season, and for that reason he must also take full responsibility and the consequences of overseeing this seasons shambles, time to go Claudio!

It is that bad that I would gladly accept the end of the season and relegation now. I don't want to endure the remaining fixtures. I simply cannot be arsed anymore. We play Sevilla in the champions league and I don't think I am interested in watching. Utterly shot to pieces. We are like an ocean liner with irreparable damage. The ocean floor is inevitable.

Perhaps the people who feel like this (and I'm not criticising it, I understand it) should take a break from football, perhaps from all sports because this is sport.

I'd love to take a break but sadly I am addicted to Leicester City and heartbroken by our demise.

I understand that too.

I think we were favourites for relegation before Ranieri arrived. I think we were stronger favourites after he arrived, and Ranieri was favourite for first manager to be sacked.

Together they defied all the odds and achieved something remarkable.

Nobody thought it could be repeated.

Why do so many people think that breaking that bond and dumping the manager that helped that impossible event to occur will almost certainly ensure an improvement in our fortunes?

Teams and individuals have and keep great support teams. It does not mean they can always win or even come close every year.

I still believe that Ranieri is still the best manager to be at this club. I think anybody else would be a huge gamble and not in the long term interests of stability for the development of the club.

Arsenal have stuck with Wenger for 20 years and have had great successes along the way.

Ferguson was at Manchester United for at least 5 years before he won anything FFS.

What is this stupid mentality of 'sack the manager' if you lose three games in a row?

Some of the most successful clubs have opted for stability with their managers and been long-term winners as a result.

I also think that people could get used to being relegated had we really fought hard but had no quality in the team.

Sadly the reverse of this is true. We have bags of quality and zero effort.

Well done lads, now **** off out of our club.

I can understand fans holding the faith and hope, its just I dont see any and in fact as each game goes, just erradicates a bit more, perhaps in the eyes of some that makes me a crap fan.

How would you describe the present attitude of the squad?
