Could have dropped Albrighton into right back at HT then

albrighton tends to get worse as the game goes on, maybe because he's one of the few who do put everything into their game still.

Personally, I think Albrighton was knackered. Not surprising either, he played a full part midweek did he not? And would it be harsh to say he was partly responsible for their 2nd goal? Lost Olsson completely, though one could equally ask where Simpson was.

I'm just hoping CR doesn't see Amartey only as a right back. Sure, he can play there but I'd like to see him at centre back. I realise we don't have options at rb btw.

I hope so too. Amartey can play RB but that's probably his 4th best position. Having said that I think he's very likely to be playing RB against Millwall as simpson will be rested and as far as we know Benny is the next likely RB replacement ( and he'll be playing CB).

A better topic would have been available had we snubbed this charity event. We'd be absolute ****s in the eyes of the media for doing so. For anyone who would like to listen to the clip, the actual debate happens at least 3 or so minutes into the clip for some reason.

really? if we'd sent Rudkin or Whelan to the awards ceremony no one had ever heard of no one would have gave a shit

I doubt it. We're a good story for the papers/media these days, our downfall brings delight to those we upset last year. If we acted like the big bollocks and didn't send our 2 main leaders then it's another story. They've been away on a trip not very far in flight terms for a bit jolly and that's massive news for some reason.

Well, that was a bit over the top reaction, wasn't it. But I guess they wanted callers.

I did see it, personally, as another example of a lack of focus about the stuff that actually matters

I thought it was a good point though about going to Millwall to see our next opponents in action.
Was anyone from City there to witness the game I wonder.

A very good point. Unless someone invents a device for recording footage and watching it back.

Talkshite just choose a target and try to wind them up.

On this occasion it was us. Now the only issue with this one is that most people agree with him.

How the **** our manager thanks its acceptable to go on a ****ing jolly to Monaco when our next opponents are playing is beyond me.

The only way they could make the target on their back any bigger is by doing this kind of stuff.

Our recent rhetoric regarding nothing being important is also ****ing me off.

If the manager doesn't think the FA Cup or Champions League isn't important then is he going to reimburse my travel costs for following the silly ****er around Europe.

This attitude has pissed me right off.

Do your ****ing job you sap

"We must continue to believe," he says. Continue to believe we're inferior to lower league opposition, apparently.

Thanks, Claudio, but you really aren't up to the task in hand. It's like watching Corbyn fielding questions and forming policy, nice bloke but increasingly clueless.

I get why people think he deserves not to be sacked, even if his current performance screams he should. But does anybody here think he'd build a squad that could challenge for promotion next season?

The club needs restructuring from the ground up once again.

Badly written on the whole, but I have changed the most annoying section of double negative shite.

Point still stands

Talk about over reaction! We won the Premier League last season but, everything needs to change.

I am not saying that everything is fine and dandy, but that means tinkering NOT total destruction. I could make uneducated guesses as to what needs to change, based upon my own prejudices and a distinct lack of insider knowledge, but at this stage, we all need to pull together and hope that it is enough to keep us in the top flight. In the summer our owners have to make the right changes but, there will be no structural change this season.

The attack on Claudio and Wes for attending an event is, as others have said, media stirring and I would have hoped that the more thoughtful of TB contributors would have ignored it.
