What happens if the new guy comes in and wins us the CL?

Is Di Matteo up to much at the moment?

Exactly

With other teams in that position you often see the whole of the bench up and celebrating

Ours sat on their fat arses looking down their noses at Ranieri celebrating as if he'd just dropped his kecks and shat on the head of a small child

Is there video of this anywhere?

Firstly, I support Leicester City Football Club above and beyond any individual who has ever played for or managed the club.

But tonight, the owners can **** off and the players can **** off. I'm more fond of Ranieri than of any other person associated with the club in the 24 yeas I've supported us. I'd never have sacked Ranieri. If anybody in the game has earned the right to go on his own terms then it's him.

I'm not so obtuse that I can't understand why some might think this was the right decision to make. But to not even allow the bloke a crack at that home leg against Sevilla? It's cruel. **** them. His statue will be outside the ground one day and it will stand long after the rest of them have gone.

I think we have done Claudio a favour.

He is forever going to be remembered as the manager who guided the Incredibles to an unbelievable Premier League title.

If he had stayed, he would also have been remembered as the manager who got Leicester City relegated.

He can leave with his head held high and with our fondest wishes and thanks.

He'd lost the players. Too much tinkering and players not knowing what to think. Rumours that Shakespeare and Walsh were at the heart of last season.

I agree, all was great while Ranieri did nothing, changed nothing, kept the squad as it was, let them play how they had been instructed previously and how they played so naturally. Raniere said it himself last season. "Why change a winning team". but as soon as he had to make decisions things started to go wrong and the more influence he inflicted on the squad the worse things got. I cannot understand why everyone does not see it.

Watching the team fall apart over this season was heart breaking, Last season they were left to play to there strengths, each player was allowed to do what he did naturally which is what he did best for the squad. Those qualities was what made us unique and that's why we were so successful.

Over this season you could see the way the team played changed. Players were not doing what they did naturally so not doing what they did well. What happened to the short fast one touch passing? why did it stop? Better ask Raniere

Who remembers during one of the matches at the start of the season? Raniere called Mahrez over to the sideline and bollocked him for his fancy footwork . Why? that was what Mahrez did best. Since then Mahrez's confidence had sunk and he does not know what he should be doing, so he skips around the pitch like a lost pup.

We all know that Vardy's fast on the break and last season he would hang around the halfway line waiting for the opportunity to exploit his speed, So why has he spent every opportunity this season helping our defence? Vardy is fast, but he is never going to score on the break from our penalty box. Again why has how vardy played been changed? Only a manager with little understanding about the game would stop Vardy doing what he does best. Like Mahrez, Vardy has tried to be something he is not, his confidence has gone and his natural ability is not exploited.

Then to contradict that we have Morgan up attacking at every opportunity. Oh sorry I forgot Morgan is known as a sprinter, so he is ok to sprint back down the pitch to defend. LOL. How does this make Raniere good.

What about Kante, why would a manager allow him to be sold? A manager should be aware of the stats and achievements of each and every player in his squad. Oh sorry, I forgot. Good managers don't know those type of things.

I could spend the weeks typing why Raniere should leave, but I cannot be bothered.

Dont get me wrong, I do agree that because of Raniere we won the Premier, and like everyone else I never dreamed it would happen. but the bubble burst for me in October when I realised that Raniere had no idea what he was doing and the only reason we won the Premier ship was because he had done nothing the season before to influence the team. I just wish we could have done the same again this season.

Another fecking PhD in Hindsight! What a load of tosh! The fecking team would continue to play just like last year if it was that simple no matter what the manager said. Our defence became exposed a) when Kante was no longer there to protect them, and b) when Huth and Morgan were stopped by referees from defending 'naturally' with their tugging and elbows!

It's a strange feeling. I've never been in a situation before where I love the manager and will quite happily chant his name and petition for a statue of him outside the ground, but still want him to be sacked.

It's very very sad, given the likability of the man and what he achieved last season, but it was the right call. I am 100% convinced we'll get relegated if nothing changed. With a wage bill the size of ours after all the new contracts, relegation is not an option.

Ranieri too loyal, and undone by the player's disloyalty.

What he gave to this club and achieved will forever be remembered. We'll not have another like Ranieri. The tears that rolled as he stood in the center circle with Bocelli and the moment we lifted the cup will stay with me forever.

When those treacherous snake players have retired (not long for some) and look back on their career highlight and the subsequent manner they downed tools. I hope they feel as sick as many of us do now. I just wish CR had dumped them earlier and told the senior pros they had 2 games to turn around unacceptable individual performances.

Instead we entered a bizarro world where the same underperforming ****tards were selected. That's sadly where Claudio lost it for me. Blame the poor summer recruitment, lack of squad depth, the owners letting Walsh leave, sacking the sports psychologist, modern footballers, hindsight... but why didn't he drop the bastards. They owe Ranieri (and Kanté) for financial windfalls beyond their imagination. If they do now turn it around now I'll cheer the club on but want them out as soon as possible, that's if anyone's willing to match their wage "demands".

Long live Claudio.

Totally gutted, embarrassed for my club and angry at the players. It almost feels like last year was a dream and Pearson was sacked just last summer. Sad times.

My feelings exactly.

However, as a fickle supporter I reserve the right to change my mind once our third goal goes in on Monday night.

That's not patronising, is it?

Well you're slating our owners and questioning their integrity. They did what they had to do.

They wouldn't have achieved what they have achieved in life if they had let their heart rule their head.

If we go down it'll be the EFL questioning the owner's integrity & I can't imagine they'll have much in the way of answers. That's more than likely got a lot to do with the sacking. An act of desperation.

How any new appointment can be expected to achieve anything with a bunch of players who are clearly looking for the out door & without a transfer window is beyond me.
If CR has been booted for losing the dressing room it should have been done at Xmas, not now.

It's being reported that "senior players" met with the owners in Spain on Wednesday night to complain about Ranieri's methods.

The utter bastards. This man led them to a league title. I despise them.
