What a ****ing shambolic performance.

Why NP did not take action to take the left back off who was obviously 100% ****ed is beyond me, it very nearly cost us 2 points and NP would be to blame totally.

Why we play people out of position just for the sake of giving them a game is beyond me, King was an absolute disgrace, I think the only reason he was never taken off is because Nigel never even realised he was on the ****ing pitch, what a waste of a place.

It is clear that Oakley is totally wasted in the role he played tonight, we need to stop playing King for the sake of it and move Oakley into the middle of the park where he should be, and at the same time giving a naturally right sided midfielder a chance; Adam's must have shagged NP's Mrs.

Bringing Bruno on for Gally was just crazy when it was clear Ryan was blowing like Roy Cropper after the charity run, madness.

I stand by my point in the other thread that Nigel Pearson cannot select the right 11 and has failed to do so in every game so far, I cannot however take away the massive achievments so far, and it is these achievments that will make the majority of posters on here slag this post off and dismiss the majority of the points I make, It will take someone like QPR taking advantage of Wayne Brown's inability to close a player down for some people to realise that some big problems do dwell in our ranks.

I do think we have one of the strongest sub's benches in the league and this is partly the reason we are actually doing as well as we are, long may that continue, although it would be nice the have the best starting 11 in the first place.

Leicester City, the biggest 1 half team in the league?

Yawn.

Well that was the most undeserved victory I have seen in a long time, yet we should have scored more goals. Thank god Reading couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo - if we play similarly against QPR we will be on the wrong end of a hammering.

McGivernaway was woeful, I still can't work out why Berner was originally 'rested' as he has been one of the better players this season (definitely in the games I've seen anyway) - Berner to definitely start against QPR. King was rubbish yet again - I hope NP puts Oakley back in the middle and gives N'Guessan another go on the Right Wing.

I don't think the Fryatt/Waghorn partnership worked, I would start the QPR game with Howard and Waghorn. How the hell Fryatt missed two easy one-on-ones I will never know. That's one thing I like about Pearson, we're winning yet he realises the front line isn't right so puts two strikers on.

Top post :038:

Fryatt should have scored at least one of his chances but playing him with Waghorn means him becomes the target man and that isnt his game. I still think Howard and Fryatt is our best partnership and needs to be what we start with on Friday.

I havent see us play that badly for a long time and if we play the same against QPR we will get stuffed.

Popillius
I agree long rambling verbose posts that most cut and paste other long rambling posts are boring.
Short to the point posts are best don't you think?

The fact that your first sentence is semantically inept and lacks vital punctuation would suggest that short, to the point posts are perhaps best for some, yes.

I like this popillius fella

Anyways, did NP not change his side about quite a bit at the start of last season? It wasn't til November when we found our best team and started to hit top gear iirc.

Well, all in all, perhaps smash and grab does sum up very well what we achieved tonight. I don't care. 3 more points and sitting pretty at the moment. I'll worry about QPR when the game begins. A bit of tinkering here and there will, I am sure, take place but that's all that it will be. Pearson is doing a sterling job at the moment given our position in the table and the points we have accrued. As we are up there with teams who, last year, were getting results against Premiership quality, there is no argument about his competence in managing, or selecting the right team to perform in the right circumstance. Long may it continue.

If McGivern, King and Oakley play like they did tonight it will be a massacre. This is a QPR team that are unbeaten at home this season and have scored 16 goals in 6 games!!!!

Therefore, if we lose it may well be understandable?

woeful but spawny.
In the play offs at the mo. fancy seeing this lot at the gooners in 10 months?...
:icon_eek:

Lako, i know your very outspoken, but surely this is far too negative a post considering we won the game.

Not at all, every single point is relevent, and sums up tonight performance, it was shit. Just because we won does not mean that we were not shambolic throughout the entire game.

I don't like being negative, im simply saying it how it is, we were awfull and this performance would never get us 3 points against a btter side, it only just got us points against a very poor side.

You can all believe what you like, im not ramming my opinion down your throat, I would however have to question anyone's eye sight who did not think that performance was anything less than shambolic.

We showed no urgency in the entire game, we were so slow in every sistuation it was very very worrying.

Im delighted we won, but im very dissapointed in the way we went about it, but even more dissapointed with the team selection AGAIN.
