I really think King is the problem the midfield is under achieving. Offers nothing to the cause. Danny's pace will cause them problems.

I can see what everyone has been saying now. We completely lost the first half in midfield IMO. King totally absent, Wellens quiet. Oakley wandering inside to do King's job. No width. Too many long balls - may as well have Howard on if we're going to persist with that.

Let's hope for a similar second half - I'll take a totally undeserved 2-0 please...

weirdly through the commercial break and half time commentary it has worked fine...expect a bucket load of buffering at kick off :mad:
 
Saw King make some timely interceptions and at least his passes generally go to the right place. The centre backs are being split regularly and Oakley is looking apathetic and ineffective on the right.
 
I think for me, N'Guessan on for King, and Howard for Fryatt.. put Oakley back in the middle with Wellens and N'Guessan on the right. Only thing that I don't know about would be that having just the one winger doesn't seem to work all that well... =/
 
This team needs width. Both Gallagher and Oakley out of position shows. I wanted to see Gallagher up top with Fryatt and Oakley move into the middle with Wellens and King come off. Problem is we have only ONE wide player on the bench and he can't cross!

Now Waghorn has scored I guess it's all same till Howard is on.... Fryatt and McGivern have looked good from here!
