Hello. Don't I know you from somewhere?I've watched Ashley Chambers all season and it would seem that, surprisingly, his confidence has dropped rather than grown.
He started the season extremely brightly and the fans loved him for his direct running. However, the management at York (our very own Gary Mills) have played him all over the park, most regularly in a deep right midfield position, occasionally on the left and rarely up front in a little man/big man combination. When he played up front he looked at his best, but he just didn't fit York's system. He took all of York's corners and was obviously instructed to chip them all in to the near post, totally ineffectually, which drew the ire of the crowd. Consequently his confidence and his touch deteriorated.
I don't think York fans (like my missus) would be overly excited were he to return for a second season. He certainly doesn't have the touch or even the pace to make an impact at Leicester. Time for him to rebuild from the lower leagues and good luck to him.
Sorry SS, he isn't good enough.
Oh, and hi everyone!
Hello. Don't I know you from somewhere?
I recognised the name, but it seems I've just seen it on here before.Well I suppose that's better than "do you come here often?"!
Erm, I don't think so, although I have been too drunk to remember a fair few evenings. Enlighten me!

Possibly there. I've most likely seen it on the list of online members at the bottom as well.
You're thinking of The Old Fox. I think. Changed his name.I think there is a user with a similar username. Seem to remember him having a Dad's Army avatar for some reason.

Also, he's not lying about knowing footballers / coaches / agents, pretending to be French or sprinkling 'lol' all over his posts. I hope he staysI know I'm going to sound like Basil Fawlty now, but finally a new poster that is well-spoken and well-mannered - fantastic!
Can I help you with your bags?
I can see me looking at this thread often just for that pic of Shane Long.........
Yup, that's me. I'm one of those that sneak around in the background I'm afraid.
Funnily enough I hadn't noticed drummindefender and Rhydal's comment before. I wouldn't dare to comment!

Awww shucks, thank you for making me welcome.
If it's compulsory for a new poster to make up some insider knowledge and add a "lol" to the end, I can do that, erm, lol.
