Interesting to see what milan had to say about RK

"I don't want to go into a club and change everything, but you are only as good as those you employ, I want the best people around me doing the best jobs"

Not word for word, but more or less

I think it all depends on the amount of transfer money available and the type of players we want to bring to the club. If milan puts say £10 million in and wants to attract some big(ish) name players i think you need a manager who can attract and handle those sort of players.

If however he puts £5 million in and wants to bring some young and hungry players from the lower leagues who have got something to prove then i think rob kelly is the right man to do it.

Personally i would rather we built a young ambitious and hungry squad of players who have got something to prove.

P.s. I dont mean hungry in the nathan blake meaning of the word.

I like that in the TV interview, when asked about bringing players in in January he said that he would be giving money for signings then because he wanted to see if it was possible for us to do something as early as this season. Unless we suddenly go on a horrendous run of form, I think RK will keep his job until at least the end of the season, and I hope he does. People are saying that we can't expect success straight away with Milan, but the truth is we're only 5 points off the playoffs at the minute. If we can keep decent form going until MM comes in and stay near the playoffs, then there's no reason we can't make it into the playoff places in the second half of the season. I think with say 2 or 3 decent signings in January we could really push on later in the season. Not saying we'd suddenly be destroying everyone or even that if we got in the playoffs we'd get promoted, but a playoff place alone would be an achievement (and surely enough to keep RK in his job). Our recent form shows we're not far off being a good team in this league.

Bang on Graz, that is my aim for the club, and I believe MM not just wants, but intends to get promoted in this season.

I am 100% certain he will have 2 plans (both budget and emotional), and the first will be for going up this season
