Wow some of those lads hate him.
I can't help but think 'Spearman' while reading that though. A player that was consistently slated here - yet will be playing the premiership next season.

What a bacon :081:

Playing the premiership next year, apparently

Tough call on his own

I'd be interested to know what position Kisnorbo played in at Hearts.

Levein signed him and played him in central midfield - he was woeful. Levein was sacked and Rob Kelly played him at centre-half and he was much improved. I also remember reading that Kisnorbo much preferred playing at the back too...

Just been speaking to one of my Scot clients and he rated the bloke quite highly. You just can't trust what these feckers say.

Club captain and all that....as I said before I'll judge him after a few games, but hopefully he'll be a good no nonsense right back at Champo level. Bearing in mind I think we'll have possibly the best centrebacks in the league next year ( perm any two from Hobbs, Tunchev & Morrison ) our defence should be more than good enough to make a serious challenge next season.

Lads and lasses,

Hearts supporter here. I don't want to come on here and dampen your enthusiasm but having read some comments from people who have spoken to hibs fans (spit!) and huns (spit!) I thought i'd better give you a more accurate picture of Robbieinho.

Firstly, he is a hard worker and always gives 110%, a model pro if you like. Also, he is a decent defender with decent positional sense and uses his body well to show the opposition players where he wants them to go. HOWEVER, he's not very fast in fact he's positively pedestrian so don't expect any lung bursting overlaps or quick bursts up your right hand flank (a friend of mine nicknamed him 'breakdown' because every time we'd go on a break the ball would get to him and.....yes you guessed it the move would breakdown).

He's not brilliant technically, sometimes his first touch leaves a bit to be desired and he's not a particularly great crosser of the ball. He does however have a very good throw which he can launch straight in to the middle of the box. Good if you have someone to aim for, pointless if you don't.

More worrying for you lot i guess is that if you asked the Hearts fans who was the better player for us Neilson or Maybury i'd reckon 90% of fans would say Maybury.

To conclude: Solid, hard working, decent defender with a long throw but weak tehnically and crap going forward.

No wonder he left with fan reviews like this after 13 years of loyal service.

Considering none of them have played at Championship level (except Hobbs when he was on loan at scunny, and if he had set the world alight that season he wouldn't have joined us) thats a bit of a presumptuous and bordering on arrogant statement to make

Don't get me wrong i think all three are good enough for the Championship, but theres no foundation to make such outlandish claims yet

Stop trying to piss on peoples fireworks!

Don't let the 13 years thing kid you on. He's 28 and he's only been a 1st team regular for the last 4/5 years. So, effectively it took him 8 years to make the RB position his own. I'm sure in your own experiences of being a football fan you'll know that good players generally become 1st team regulars before the age of 20. I'm also pretty sure whether the fans like him or not will not be a major contribution in him leaving.
