Rodgers future...

He’d be off like a shot.
I’d find it so funny if he did.

The Newcastle thing has tipped me over the edge of taking football remotely seriously. All that exists is whoever is involved in the Leicester City bubble now.

Completely agree. I’ve the sense this might be a bridge too far for a few.

We can get compensation for him rather than paying him off?

Result.

It must be true, it's on the Internething.
Newcastle? Naaa.

Mugs easily parted with their money

He’d last a couple of years, win the league maybe, then get the hoof. Massive payoff. Do nowt for a few months then back to the Premier League to manage MK Dons, by now a fully-integrated department of the Iraqi government with a £20 billion transfer budget and tentative plans to move to a gigantic inflatable stadium in Baghdad within ten years. In 2025, he leads them into the debut season of the brand new 36-team Eurasian Super League (sponsored and heavily rigged by the Russian Federation and Facebook). Having spent all season in the top four, they finish fifth in the Western Conference, just missing out on the end of season playoffs by losing to Newcastle on the final day.

Sacked again.

Wait until Newcastle play their 1st game on Sky/BT the commentary will definitely put the final nail in the coffin

“Only Rodgers knows if it's the right time for him to live out his dream and manage in Spain.”

As if he would turn it down, no matter the state Barca are in

8 million pound pay off treat yourself! Can not see BR leaving mid season though the Newcastle take over will undoubtedly make it harder for us in the future.
I guess it is down to recruitment again

Just one minor error in there.

Facebook, the billionaire owned data thieving scam platform, is actually part of the famous " global left wing conspiracy " (as is the whole of silicon valley) due to the fact that they once deleted a post calling for the introduction of concentration camps as a solution to unemployment.
Clearly such a bunch of naive & deluded radicals would never be involved in such a solid business idea as rampant corruption. The ****ing snowflakes.

In the last 24 hours, all bookies now appear to have made BR favourite for the Newcastle job.

I imagine when he came here he saw it as a stepping stone. Unlikely he thought it would be Newcastle next though. Strange days indeed.

More importantly though, is it now the Big Seven? Or will they finally just have to stop pretending that Spurs & Arsenal still matter?

It would be truly ****ing hilarious if he went there.

Part of me wants to see it
Oh absolutely me too. It would be funny if he publicly turned them down, it would be doubly hilarious to watch him fail there and destroy any ambition he might have of managing a ‘top’ club.

I don’t want us to sack Rodgers but if he left under those circumstances if would probably do wonders for our season.
