Too true, wouldnt surprise me if you get a reply to that post but not the ones that have asked direct questions. Unbelievable.

I suggest they sell their shares to someone who is capable of acting in the supporters interests. Bunch of reactionaries...

I am not too sure how much of a say the "represntative" has at board level. I think he might be just there as an observer, I could be wrong though

Well he has gone now, cannot believe how he has managed to spend the last hour or so dodging questions about a key incident or potential key incident at the club. Today I lost a hell of a lot of faith in the club and it's administrators, whilst tonight has confirmed that the supposed voice of the fans is nothing short of a puppet with the hand of the club rammed firmly up it's arsehole.

What a shower of fecking shite.

maybe he was told to be here, to keep an eye on us......

If those people who are criticising the trust think they can do better, maybe they should have stood for the board at the recent trust elections - when no one stood against the current board. So either people are too apathetic to get involved themselves, or they think the current board are doing a good job - or both.

There are still places on the Foxes Trust board available for people to be co-opted, so if anyone wants to get involved they can.
If you did that you might also see that the trust is independent, and not 'a puppet' as has been suggested - and you don't have to do the 'corporate hospitality' thing, I didn't during my time on the trust board. Usually a trust member is picked at random for one of the posh seats, and I know the time spent getting to know people at the club has proved to be a useful way of getting the fans' views across, and finding out what is really going on. I'm sure if there's a trust board member in the directors' box on Saturday they'll learn a lot more about what's been going on (if anything!) in the last few days.

A few interesting answers from the Jo Bucci Q&A someone posted a link to:

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Loyal, go-getter and (very) direct!

What is the best piece of advice ever given to you?
To always surround yourself with similar-minded people. To leave negative individuals behind you, hopefully the good ones change and join you, the rest usually fall out of the picture eventually.

What has been the most embarrassing moment in your career so far?
A few years ago after being appointed as managing director of a Capital Radio station I threw Ian Wright out of the station for loitering in the corridor. I didn’t realise he was there for a sports interview and had no idea who he was! Fortunately he saw the funny side of it.

What has been your biggest regret?
I try not to have any...the ones I do have I’m not sharing! What’s the first thing you do when you get to work in the morning? Say good morning to as many people as possible. I hate the culture of going straight onto the e-mail system. I’m a morning person so I’m usually at my best first thing.

What is the most exciting aspect of your job?
Achieving the target, which usually means we’ve worked hard for the customer. I love nothing more than being surrounded by successful teams.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
Having achieved all of my goals I hope to be in a hot country, content with my lot!

I'm glad I don't have to work with her!

For all thoses criticising the FT and complaining that they do not represent the fans adequately, how many of you are trust members?

As far as I am concerned they do not represent "the fans" they represent the fans who are members of the FT (which I am not) and as far as I can see they do an OK job, nothing great but ok.

If anyone is seriously about questioning the club more effectively, and has the courage to do more than post on here, join the trust and get stuck in.

Good point, speaking as a member of the FT. Unfortunately, yours truly cannot get involved due to the fact I live darn sarf.

And, perhaps:

5) Are the Trust happy with the Club's handling of today's events? If so, why?

Have you read all the posts leading up to the criticism of the FT ? If you have you will have noticed a number of questions were asked regarding yesterdays rumours, many of these questions were ignored, whilst the ones that were answered, were nothing short of club spin.

Now I take your points on board as regards joining the FT and getting stuck in, but I do take exception to the fact that you believe the FT are above criticism, as you have stated they do an ok job but not great, which surely means there is room for improvement, and I believe this is one area the FT could improve on. I was very disappointed by their non response to a situation that many fans feel passionate about.

With this in mind we have requested information from all moderators of LCFC fans message board about the actions of the club today.

Thank goodness that neither you nor the club seem to be aware of all the forums that City fans use.

What makes you think that moderators would want to co-operate with an organisation that seems to be a stool-pigeon of the club and has been used as the club's only mouth-piece in this instance?

Why is the Trust, which is supposed to be a fans' organisation, happy to speak for the club? Why can't the club speak for itself?

(In reply to this question from Duzza - "Will you lose you corporate hospitality is you tell us the truth for a change??")
- one day you will understand the importance of getting to know all the Directors & hence gaining an influential voice that stretches way beyond talking to one person at the club

Give me a break!!

All that does is make you more like one of them and less like one of us.

We were asked who we spoke to, but nobody seems bothered about the original source of these stories. Why aren't you challenging them?

Perhaps because the original posters are more trusted than the Trust. But that's your problem!!

Hmmm, that quote is a bit "and the animals looked at the pigs and the men but could not tell which was which" isn't it? (Or whatever it says, years since I read that book).

Is the Birch the biggest issue here? If 'Bruin's original post is to be believed (and subsequent events make it more plausible) then Neville would be a big loss to the club.

The whole thing is an issue! It's not the Birch, it's not the pathetic attempt to censur independant message boards, its the whole incident combined!!

PF, from reading your posts on this subject you seem very passionate about it and rightly so, but from the clubs point of view somebody has posted confidencial information that possibly may not have even been known to the people mentioned, might not have even been acted on and only a suggestion of a 'cost cutting exercise'. I can see were the FT are coming from questioning the motives of the originator of the story, if this is leaked information of a meeting and the actions have or may not have happened the club do not need to tell anybody about it.

Expecting a public statement from the club on this issue is a bit far fetched, I would have thought that only a very small percentage of fans read message boards, so not many people would have seen this story and it may have only been an agenda item of a meeting anyway. The club can not be expected to comment on every bit of 'gossip' posted on a forum.

If decisions need to be made to take this club forward that are not to all of our likings then so be it, LCFC is also a business and if that business is successful then we will see the rewards on the pitch. No company asks it customers what they should do, if they do it is only a PR stunt and if they listened to everything they would not be in business very long.
Most businesses treat thier customers like idiots, look at the energy firms, all quoting record profits, but the prices are still going up around 20%.

Also see this and note where she wants to be in 10 years time - now that is committed!

Her CV to me reads thats she soared through the lower ranks of a company. The area she worked in is full of overpaid under talented types so a bit of BS and hard work would see her through no problem. It would appear thought that she has been found out at Director level pretty quickly!
