heard on the radio earlier that the American Air Force apache helicopter pilots train their eyes to look seperate ways, one ahead of them and one at the instruments on the 'dash'.

had a quick look through google but couldnt find any info.

does anyone know if this is true?

Almost true ,they use one eye to look through a (sp) eye peace that controls the direction the weapons where they goto once fired ,the other eye checks controls and so on

I was in Gettysburg earlier this month and they spoke about this and said it had been banded around over the years but there was know truth to it at all.

Whereabouts in Gettysburg, at a particular address?
