I'm just expecting the morons to be out in force booing him again next week.

Bloody foreign keepers eh? Can't trust them, all shifty eyed and olive skin.

Get a propah Anglo Saxon in there.

I don't know how bad he was today but I've found Youngs xenophobia completely unnacceptable for a supposed "pro".

I wonder if Vitor/Ricardo playing together helped today?

I'm a fan of Vitor (even more after today!) so hopefully it's good enough reason to keep him in ;)

Yuki (with translator) being interviewed now

Good win today. I feared they would do what they did to us last year (i.e. score late to equalise after doing very little all match) but thankfully we went and got more goals. Best away win of the season? Best away win for a couple of seasons? Not sure but a good win any way AND importantly it moves us to +1 goal difference, just 3 worse than Hull which I have a feeling could be important at the end of the season (presuming we can close and move past that gap)

One fan on Facebook: "One clean sheet don't make him any good and it's the first clean sheet he's kept that's cuz he had **** all to do due to the back 4 being so solid"

Can't even get their facts right.

Someone text/emailed in to RL and said "we need to keep some of the loan players; Naughton, Mee, Bamba"... uhh

Weale for president.

At the Q&A Sven said he would like to sign all the loan players permanently but it was entirely up to the parent club.

I have not rated Vitor very highly in the past ranking him below Hobbs and Morrison (who?) but I would guess from his two goals he played well today. Can someone who was actually at the match confirm this?

Just got back and well pleased with that performance.

A few dodgy moments but always thought we could step it up when needed.

Think we need a proper song for Vitor. He played well today scored 2 goals yet at the end you'd be forgiven for thinking that Bamba was the hero what with his shirt antics.

Another fan "I still hate ricardo but I wont boo him. Didn't he jump over the ball when scunny scored."

Do some of these people actually realise what they're typing out?

I typed the post below in the pre-match thread but as it was the tail-end of the thread it never got answered. It may be that the answer is so simple that in asking the question I am showing my ignorance of the game but few will be surprised at that.

As someone whose understanding of football is stuck in the days of Stanley Matthews I am frequently confused by 21st Century football terminology.
Now Sven keeps refering to "winning the second ball". What is the second ball? Presumably there are first balls but are there third balls or is it all a load of balls.

Who is next? I still think it's a bit too big of an ask but you never know.

Good to see order restored in the formation and lineup too.

Maybe Vitor will provide the steadiness we need at the back. I like the makeup of the back five we rolled out today.

Back 6 if you include Abe sweeping up and offering protection to let Naughton go rampaging down the wing.
