I also found it very innapropriate since I the last time I was face down on the grass I lay in some dog poo. It got all over my new shirt and made me smell. Waggy and Naughton are complete insensitive bastards and should be strung up and made to apologise to me for not realising that I am still scarred from my dog poo incident. Grrrrr.

Something like this was bound to happen to him, whether self-inclined or a opposition fan. At Millwall, the Police had to stop a Mill fan from kicking his head in and he was severly warned at the time to stop the chants at London Bridge Station. Still kept giving it the big 'un on the train towards South Berm.

The damage:-
Blind in one eye (for now), fractured skull, shattered left knee and broken wrist.

I saw the celebration a couple of times and never once connected it to the disaster in Japan. It is a fairly obtuse link in my opinion.

If anything, it's more likely connected to the fact that the Scunthorpe pitch has been likened to a beach.
