From the pandering Merc article:
"The price structure has been drawn up after a consultation with supporters and supporters groups which began in November"
Cheers for that, FT. Another victory........

Given that I'm no longer Under 22 next season, I am seriously considering giving my ST up. Not sure it'll be worth the price increase for me, especially if it's anything like last season.
Might just go to the odd game instead, can borrow my dad's ST for the first few games anyway, as he's going to be away. Just doesn't seem worth it at this point in time with the quality being served up though, don't care that makes me a fairweather fan who doesn't stick through them through thick and thin or whatever.
We spoke to Susan tonight to double check what she said during the Radio interview.
200 student tickets sold last year of which 90% would still be U22 this year, hence doing the maths, 20 would now be at the full adult price
We also spoke to Jim who deals with the fanzone & the majority of complaints so far are coming from students U22, who under previous student rates got the U18 prices. In most areas the U22 price is around double the U18 price
What is the point in trying to attract young families to get the kids interested if you are just going to **** them off when they are students or earning a low (average) wage?
The girl who got fired on The Apprentice last night probably thought up the Ticket pricing at City
You would though wouldn't you
Would you make her leave the pizza outfit on? :icon_wink
Cliff Ginnetta, chairman of the Official Supporters Club, said the supporters needed to pay their share to match the investment of the owners.
"I am pleased that there is no increase in the family section and also that there are no charges to be incurred if you pay by direct debit," he said. "I am a little surprised that there is an increase of 15 per cent for the dearer-priced seats, although it is only around eight per cent for the rest of the ground.
"I am sure, as always, that the fans will rally around and find the money. Generally, it needs to be a sustainable business and we all have to put our share in as we cannot really expect the owners to keep putting in millions without some back-up from the fans."
