i was saying about Izzets leicester career and i stated that Izzet is one of a few Leicester players to play at the world cup but it was a minor point and the bulk was to defend some of idiots who said izzet wasn't worthy of a place in the top ten of alltime when he clearly is one of the better players we have had

There are many very good players that have played for City over the last century.
Saying that Muzzy is a worthy of a top ten alltime place is rather an hypothetical choice seeing that you have no doubt never seen the likes of Sep Smith and Arthur Rowley play.

The original list in this thread does not go beyond any player who played before Gordon Banks in the 60's, so people only vote for what they have known and seen. This makes any top 10 list a matter of an individuals opinion, and in your case with the inclusion of Muzzy, its one of which i would argue is controversial.

Exactly BB, IMO David Gibson was far better than Izzet ever was.

I actually think Muzzy was a very good player for the club, not sure about top 10, but a very good player...so there. Does that help?

He was my hero when I started going, in fact one of my favorite football memories involved him bagging against Liverpool to make it 2-0. It was ****in' freezing too.

I have seen CLIPS of some of the so called legends of the past and to be honest you can make ade akinbadbuy look good in clips this not to say they are poor players but you have to respect what muzzy did for the club and it is disrespectful to disgard him as you are doing

What are you talking about? Are you saying football now is better than it was before you started watching it? And why is 'CLIPS' in capital letters?

and to be honest you can make ade akinbadbuy look good in clips

It's 'Akinbiyi'. And no, you can't.

this not to say they are poor players but

What is it to say then?

you have to respect what muzzy did for the club

So by not agreeing that he's the greatest player to have ever lived (or whatever it is you're saying), everyone on here is being disrespectful?

and it is disrespectful to disgard him as you are doing

What does disgard mean?

I dont see how Muzzy was any much more important to Leicester than Neil Lennon. I dont dispute he had quality, but he took the plaudits for the glossy work, where as Lennon crucially imo was the heartbeat of Leicesters midfield.
Regarding me being disrespectful to him, i'm trying to give a balanced view to your obvious lack of knowledge with respect to the players that you have never seen play.

I make you right on that one Brauny, Lennie was the General for me.
Plus Muzzy dissed my young one and wouldn't give her an autograph or stop for a photo with her, he's gonna get a box on the chin when I catch up with him.

I'd definitely put Lennon ahead of Muzzy too. Muzzy was a very good player, but I'd say since I've been following Leicester when I was 6 ('96) that he was only the fourth best/most iconic player for me after Walshie, Claridge and Lennon.

Chill out!

I would have to say from what I have seen in my 20 odd years as a Leicester fan Muzzy is definately worthy of his inclusion in the Top 10, although at the same time it is difficult for me to asses players from 'back in the day'. As previously mentioned 'CLIPS' can give a bit of a false representation of a player...

Muzzy was a hero for city!

I do have to work these days RF:102:

Not before time too - too much welfare state dependency and people who know nothing about Leicester City writing nonsense when they should be on their bikes looking for a job.

That aside, Lennon was an ordinary and one- paced (i.e.slow) player who MON managed very well and fitted him into an extremely effective system just as he would have seen in his playing days Clough utilise McGovern - another ordinary talent and to an extent himself as well. Top manager in that respect but never going to be a great manager.

If you go on 'legend' status divided by performances then Pontus Kaamark should be in there.

The title is greatest All-Time Greatest Leicester City players, not 'legend' status

So dear old Pontus wouldn't get anywhere near the top 10
