Bamba and Mills seem very similar players to me; both attack the ball aggressively as it comes forward and both have recovery pace to deal with what is sometimes a lack of positional sense. On that basis you'd say that they might not be the ideal combination, with organisational ball players like St Ledger, Tunchev (when fit) being a better foil.
That said - based on a dominant appearance vs Real Madrid and Bamba's highlights of last season, if Curtis Davies is worth £3m and Roger Johnson £7m, then Bamba has to be worth £5m based on his potential and age (which we can then use on a badass striker). Blackburn have the £16.5m from Phil Jones burning a hole in their pocket afterall

Could be a 'tap up' by Blackburn to see what happens, or it could an agent playing silly games to unsettle the player.

More likely an issue around wages given that he arrived on a very modest transfer fee - and now both Bamba and his agent thinks he's worth a lot more. I get the impression that speculation about him moving is an on-going event and if he wants out let him go - at the right price. Pity because I think he's one of our best players.

Leicester's Sol Bamba link to Blackburn Rovers 'incorrect'

Leicester City defender Sol Bamba is not on the verge of leaving the club, despite reports linking him with Blackburn Rovers.

Rovers are eager to sign a centre-half following the departure of Phil Jones, and reports have suggested they are chasing the 26-year-old Ivorian.

But BBC Radio Leicester understands there has been no bid for Bamba and the Foxes are not negotiating his sale.

Bamba missed Tuesday's Carling Cup win at Rotherham due to personal reasons.

I wonder what these personal reasons are?

Not sure, but I believe Anarchy is..........
