I did this a few years ago with a different website and I don't really think it was that succesful. The club wasn't great in dealing with us, there wasn't a great deal more traffic and it was a lot of effort collecting money from members.

If the point of this would be to advertise the website then I think there may be better ways to do it. You can get a shit load of leaflets printed for £100, it would just need a few suckers to hand them out at games or stick them up around the stadium.
