I think we should start an email campaign. Anybody know Nelson Mandela's email? He should know all about how to behave on a kop, being South African.

What is the problem with situating the group near to L1???

You can stand to your hearts content with out upsetting the stewards, surrounded by lots of other people who will more than likely join in with your songs etc rather than getting upset at the noise levles.

A few bone heads in there that will give you a stare for the first game or so possibly, but i'm sure they dont know how to use email so there wont be any complaints.

Good luck with it all anyway

:)

Having read through all the various posting on FT seems like the complaints were about noise, but the veiled threats about 'if you do what you did against Boro' etc. is all about the standing up

They want to stand up for the full ninety minutes, bouncing up and down and singing

Well they can't

Although looking at the later posts on that thread, it now seems that it was more, "If you want to stand, you'll have to move to K1"

If I was Lee Hoos I would be furious at the way my "spokesman" has handled this.
"All supporters must, however, ensure they adhere to the safety regulations that are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone"
The "spokesman" should have said
"We support the singing of the Fosse Boys but when they keep standing up it endangers people around them."
That sentence may have been true or untrue, fair or unfair but it would have made the club look responsible and put the Fosse Boys on the defensive.

The Fosse Boys have shown a flair for public relations that makes highly paid people at the club look amateurish.

I think you're a victim of your own spin there Mr David

Still couldn't hear them up our end of the ground. I know!! Why don't they use the block the other side of the away fans?

Oh yeah.....that's already been tried innit...........

And abandoned because they kept standing up and acting like arseholes.......

Seems as though they are taking some good advice.

The fosse boys are sitting AND singing. Didn't think that was possible?!

It sounds like the same "crew" as Tuesday... I wonder if Peppa Pig is there telling the stewards they are *****?

They certainly seem to have taken on some bone heads. It's a shame because you could've kinda excused their naivety (?) before but now they just look like a bunch of divs.

The "why are we singing alone?" song shows that their 'image' has gone out of the window. And for anyone who is interested, it was about 20 mins before the first anti-forest song.

Yeah I know what you mean, I think these were the more old school kopites with the Kevin Russel song and that. Apparently the Fosse Boys had a mare today.

Some of them weren't allowed to buy tickets for SK1 today.

The whole way how there was a gang of stewards at the bottom of the block at kick off was pathetic.

Interestingly the tag-along boneheads present weren't challenged about their standing.

I kept an eye on them today. I admire their intent and would like to see them succeed. However, there were very few of them and they seemed to put in little effort. Surprising really given the fanfare about them.

After about 20 mins and a few steward visits, a bunch of older fans joined them and started all the stupid chanting.

The young 'uns didn't seem to know what to do and kind of skulked at the back then. They then got a bit of a voice near the end.

Pathetic from the stewards, absolute pussies who don't dare kick off with them. Get a proper job.
