Standing up at a match in my experience is not what it is made out to be. In a large crowd in a confined space ( old Pen 3) with everybody surging forwards every 5 minutes, Losing your mates in the process, trying to get to the back to go for a slash was a journey on its own. Then for the Chelsea HeadHunters to come in from the back 5 minutes from the end capped it all. Nowhere to go because of the fences to the sides and front. All hell lets loose.

You see people now standing at their seats, but what do they do at half time??? They fecking sit down...

i remember it well pen 3 got tomato sauce all down the front of my 6 button high waistband skinners the st johns thought it was blood the coppers dragged me out i had to watch the rest of the game on a stretcher and walk home with one shoe .......eeeeeehhhhh happy days
