striker needed urgently

Nothing will improve if Dublin and DeVries play up front together. They are anything but an exciting partnership. Both of these players should not be playing a full 90 for us IMO!

the number of goals we conceeded last year was comparable to Sunderland and they went up as champions. Our problem was scoring goals. As evidenced it still IS scoring goals, yet this is the one area where nothing has been done (yet)! Please please please, don't get another towering slug Mr. Levein. I'd have to start pulling out my finger nails for relief!

Dublin and MDV I expect will rarely play up front together, connoly will be the main man with one of those 2 as support, the 4th striker I think will be cover for connoly. Remember they were playing a italian defense who make things very diffilcult a bit different to the championship.

Playing the reserves, a team like inter milan reserves will be pretty much almost premiership quality. I heard 2 of the back 5 were first teamers as well.

Wasnt eactly a youth team. but okay it was the reserves. But I would like to see how the three last season premiership teams do against them. Anyway its still a pre season friendly and I dont think you can take an awful lot from it.

Milhalovic and Matarazzi are their starting centre halves. Wome is a Cameroon international and is a fair player although I'd doubt if he played every week for the 1st team. I don't know who played right back but I didn't recognise him

Anyway, point being that 3 of their back four + Pizzaro, Stankovic, Solari and Karagounis and Ze Maria were of a far higher quality than anything we'll face in the fizzy league.

It's ridiculous to compare, that team would win the Championship by 30 clear points.We didn't disgrace ourselves and I thought Inter at least came for game rather than messing around.

Inters No.8 was absolutely fantastic and was man of the match by some considerable distance. Reminded me of Neil Lennon but could run as well!

Hopefully Craig kidnapped him and he will play for us next season under the name Shughie McFee.

Pizzaro (no 8) and Karagounis (21) were quality as was Solari (10). I reckon Morris with a sun bed tan and Canero could have been swopped for Pizzaro and Karagounis with out anyone noticing. A B.A. Baracus style milk drink should have done the trick.
