can you stand on the left on the escalator please?

Roll horse-chestnuts down really long escalator handrails in tube stations.

If we are doing musicals then I would recommend the Jersey Boys. That has proper music for old people like me.

You're a girlie, Sioux. Musicals were invented specifically for you

You, Graham Norton, Dale Winton and the few jessie-boy posters in this thread

feck me, if it's anything like today, you won't need sights to visit, jubblie heaven it was, hallelujah

Camberwell mentioned earlier, but Borough Market is a nice way to spend a morning (I think it's only Friday and Saturday morning). And can wander along to Tate Modern if that's your thing. And can wander a bit further to South Bank, where there's usually something on in the summer.

I would also recommend going to a show (not necessarily a gay one), but would recommend taking in one of the smaller theatres. For example, The Almeida, in Angel where I live, is an excellent little venue for dinner and a show. Or lots of the pubs also have an upstairs theatre which is quite quirky and inexpensive.

What's the best tube station to use for Houndsditch? Also, anywhere decent to eat around there?

Aldgate - Circle and Metropolitan lines. Aldgate is at the south end of Houndsditch.

We did a Thames River cruise for £15 each and it was an excellent trip. It takes you to Greenwich which is a real gem of a place and i'll be going back there as we really didn't give ourselves long enough to look round.
