I've just heard a rumour, I dont know how true it is but I will post it anyway. The MM is a done deal, was pretty much in the bag 8 weeks ago and it will be approved on Saturday and he will be in for his goal of Dec 15th and its never been in doubt. RK is already hunting for players for Jan.

If we pick players up on frees and they are not going to be sellable assets to other clubs. Now if we produce youngsters who suggest they are good players then they are going to be sellable assets which clubs wants
City could spend 3 million on this crop, Stearman in January could make 2 thirds of that back.
Great example of how a club needs to thrive from its youngsters is Peterborough, they produced some good players with their academy in the late 90s, Davies and Etherington to name a couple, these made money. Then when Peterborough pulled the plug on its academy, there was no sellable assets in a few years time to keep the club going. Thats why when the new owner of Peterborough came in this year, Barry Fry who had has been there numerous of years suggested that the first thing he does was to open back up the academy.

Isn't December 15th the date Mandaric mentioned in his TV interview, so it's hardly a surprise lots of people are hearing that date from 'sources' :icon_conf
