How many managers will be willing to take on the role when they can read of the owners making signings (Chinese & South Korean in Jan) :102:

Certainly a problem.

However, the only way forward is to remove various parts of the problem. Sousa and his misguided tactics is part of the problem.

Mandaric is another part of the problem - and needs to go now.

The owners are another problem - hopefully they will see some sense or move on themselves.

Where all the above will leave the club, I simply wouldn't know.

Very apologetic interview from Sousa - "Friday was one of the worst days of my life."

Leicester City Manager, Paulo Sousa, is determined to put things right this week, as his side face Norwich on Tuesday at Carrow Road, followed by Scunthorpe United at home on Saturday.

The City boss was hurt after his side's 6-1 defeat at Portsmouth on Friday, but he has the belief that his players can right their wrongs.

"This kind of result has never happened to me before and I will do everything I can to make sure it never happens again. We let our supporters down on Friday night and for that I am sorry.

"As a team, we must not forget the pain we endured on Friday evening and this must be used as a motivation to ensure that we now get the results right for the fans, for ourselves and for the club.

"I am committed to a long-term project at Leicester City, but to achieve this I know we must have short-term success. I hope that the supporters will continue to help us as they have already this season. We know that we must improve and we will."

Sousa will come up against his former Borussia Dortmund teammate, Paul Lambert on Tuesday as City face Norwich. He is certain that his side can achieve a positive result at Carrow Road.

"Friday shocked me as the team were full of confidence going in to the game. We have performed well in matches against Coventry and Cardiff, and we were unlucky against QPR, whose manager said that we were the best side they had faced this season.

"But I am not the kind of person to make up excuses. Friday was one of the worst days of my life. I was both disappointed and frustrated and I have been unable to sleep this weekend with those thoughts in mind. I hope that Friday was just a bad accident and I now want to see a strong reaction from my players this week, starting at Norwich."

To get a work permit any Korean or Chinese signing will have to be a full international who has played a significant amount of the recent matches played by their national team, in our league these will be very good players, it's a different situation to bringing in European 'talent' that doesn't need a work permit.

I'm not worried about this sort of signing, even if it is done without consulting the coach.

You have made some good points and anyone brought in from China or Korea will have to be a quality player. My concern is that they are being brought in to sell King Power to Asian TV audiences which may make it difficult for the manager to leave them out.
I seem to remember that one problem with Mourinho at Chelsea was the decision to leave out Shevchenko against the wishes of Roman Abramovitch.

I know I probably shouldn't but seems a bit cynical that Sousa has now changed his tune from unlucky and under no pressure to 'very sorry' for Friday's result

Maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt and blame his initial reaction on being too soon after the game but I am struggling to give him that

Or maybe he's just realised what an arrogant arse he is and has angered a lot of fans with his attitude.

I know I can't back this up, so feel free to disregard it, but that's absolutely not true.

It absolutely is 100% true. Read it again. The only person who decided to leave LCFC and join Hull is NP himself. He wasn't sacked. He was offered another job and he decided to take it instead of staying at LCFC. That is indisputable.

Nigel Pearson did not leave of his own accord

Yes he did! He wasn't sacked so obviously, for whatever reason, he decided to leave and therefore left of his own accord, i.e. in agreement with himself.

Doesn't matter how you dress it up, or whatever went on behind the scenes, that is an absolute fact.

You appear to have already forgotten that an exception was made for Abe who has not appeared in the requisite number of international fixtures. I'm sure that things can be arranged in such a way that other players who do not really qualify will find their way onto our books.

Constructive dismissal?

Strong rumours that Suzy goes after the Norwich match no matter what the result, and Kevin Blackwell will be appointed. I would favour this move because Blackwell is a good solid manager at this level, similar dare I say it to NP.

Oh god, he's off again

At least this time it isn't some shite sad old Cov player, so I suppose we should be grateful of the improvement

No. No, he didn't. Even if you don't know details, the clues are there.

Tell you what, this taxi company is shit.

Did they say what time they were coming for him? Pretty sure I asked for 'ASAP' but this is taking the piss.

Can someone give them another call and tell them the cab is wanted NOW.

It's just around the corner....

"Almost with you, mate, he got caught up in some traffic coming through the town centre."

"He's right outside, mate, just looking for your house number."

"He got kidnapped by aliens but he's back and almost there now"
