"Almost with you, mate, he got caught up in some traffic coming through the town centre."

"He's right outside, mate, just looking for your house number."

"He got kidnapped by aliens but he's back and almost there now"

The taxi arrived but unfortunately it was met by a blue mongie and turned away!

You do realise that people leave places of work not because they WANT to, but because they feel as though they cannot stay for whatever reason?

In which case the former employer may expect a case of constructive dismissal to be bought against it.

You appear to have already forgotten that an exception was made for Abe who has not appeared in the requisite number of international fixtures. I'm sure that things can be arranged in such a way that other players who do not really qualify will find their way onto our books.

No I hadn't forgotten, Abe played all of his countries games at the wc and an exception was made, don't expect the dwp to make a habit of making this type of exception.

Beep, beep.............knock, knock..................theres somebody at the front door..............

With the take-over still not through, I can't see MM stumping up to pay off Sousa out of his own pocket without a bit of force.

There again, if I were a Thai consortium I'd be a bit reluctant to be signing any papers at this moment in time.

I was thinking more of the chance Milan will spunk a load of compo on removing a manager when he's so close to getting rid of his financial obligations.

To get a work permit any Korean or Chinese signing will have to be a full international who has played a significant amount of the recent matches played by their national team, in our league these will be very good players, it's a different situation to bringing in European 'talent' that doesn't need a work permit.

I'm not worried about this sort of signing, even if it is done without consulting the coach.

Just out of interest, does that mean that it doesn't bother you that China are an absolute pile of fecking shite? My Gran could get a game for them if she got her boots re-soled.& she's been dead for 30 years.

The basic facts are that we have been sold out by a crazed old buffoon who is bent on returning to his elephant's graveyard on the South Coast to die.
Provided of course that he doesn't get his ancient arse chucked into a cell in April.
The club I have supported since the age of 10 is now the personal plaything of a spoilt rich child whose family have made their money flogging cheap booze & fags to sex tourists.

I can still remember when supporting a football club was an entertaining,if sometimes emotionally draining experience based on a love of competitive sport & a pride in my home town, rather than an episode from some fecking soap opera.

Its starting to look to me as if my tongue-in-cheek post predicting the future of LCFC from a few weeks ago might be more accurate than I hoped :-(

Are they? Could she? Oh well, I really don't bother with international football, so couldn't tell you the relative merits of national teams but I can't see many of the current squad getting into a national team anytime soon, even if they could qualify as Chinese.

Don't forget we all have to be so appreciative of what MM has done here, you know things like, raising our position in the league, buying the stadium, reducing debt, reducing the outlay on agents etc. :icon_wink
