It's a Canon 30D DLSR. Two lenses, the standard (and fairly rubbish) 17-55 L and my nice lens, which cost more than the camera, a 100-400mm zoom IS L (below). Lovely!

You half expect to see Geronimo and his war party come sweeping down from them thar' hills

If you were there 100 years ago and you had reeeeeally good eyesight, you might have done. The mountain range in the bottom photo - just a thin line of dark blue on the horizon - is the Chiricahua Mountains, which was Geronimo's domain. The photo is taken from is the foothills of the Dragoon Mountains, famous for being Chief Cochise's hideout. Cochise was more famous down here than Geronimo, and has the the whole county named after him, lucky boy.
