none of the people in bold get paid by the club i dont think but i could be wrong :102:

Why would any sane individual want to invest any money into a football club that is managed and ran by the useless shower of shite that currently resides over the purse strings at the Walkers.

For a start we have employed a commercial and marketing specialist in Jo Bucci and on or around a three figure salary (works out at nearly 2k per week ) plus no doubt numerous perks and bonuses, and for what, I dont see a whole new dynamic marketing and commercial division, just seems to be continuing to dwindle away.

The individuals running our club all have one thing in common they have little or no experience in football and sadly its showing, we are a laughing stock on and off the pitch. Granted they saved our club and we should always be grateful but now is the time to acknowledge that they are out of their depth and hand over the reins to somebody capable of taking this club forward.

Now here is a thought, Martin George (IMO our best chairman to date) is still around the club but not involved in the day to day management, but is a Leicester man through and through, if the fans were to turn on the current board, would Mr George be prepared to become our Knight in Shining Armour and rescue our club from these halfwits. At least he is a football man and he has proved in the past his ability to make tough and ruthless decisions and his record for managerial appointments is superb.

I would love to see Martin George back running this club, and start to get us moving back in the right direction, instead of the oppressive regime who are currently taking us on a journey of mediocrity and mis management.

I guess the board are trying to run the club as a seperate entity rather than standing as guarantors for loans or dipping into their own funds.

My guess is someone like Kinch et al will step in at the last minute and pick the club up for nothing when the shit really does hit the fan.

He hadn't got the money to fund it last time. We know we met with all parties & discussed the bids with the administrator

As I understand it our total wage bill this year is still one of the top 12 in the division. That kind of wage bill should produce better football and better results. .

That is correct, this focus solely on the funding issue is wrong, Rob Kelly has clearly stated he is happy he has a squad to compete in this League

The only way out for Mr Davies and co is to put the club up for sale, there is no way they will succeed. I've always been a believer that 'fans' owning clubs is a bad thing unless they have a major investment to make, as we all know Mr Davies recouped most of his investment during our relegation season in bonuses. Will he return the cash to solve our weakness down the left hand side? No.

I have no belief that the current regime will take us back to anywhere near where a city the size of ours demands.

The continuous half baked ideas about name changes, what should be played before kick-off, giving away flags, ground shares and failed concerts are a just a list of more embarrassments to add to the 'cheat' jibes which we suffered in our only successful season under them.

The only things certain about them is that they will let Kelly take the flak as they did with Adams and Levein.

So do you want the 3 guys that Derby just got rid off to take over then?

Or how about a property developer who doesn't give a toss about LCFC & would move the club to Kettering?

Easy to criticise Bobby, what would you do to make the difference?

Some very interesting points there Bob, sounds like things are rotten from the top all the way down. How they can justify employing Jo Bucci on her, allegedly, 100k salary, it's pathethic she's allowed to take holiday during the football season! Or did she come up with the mind-blowing mundane flags idea and can now retire a happy woman.

This club is sinking fast unless Tim (nice but dim) and Ronald McDonald can get hold of some mind bending acid and have a real original idea to raise funds.

Does anyone want to give Engelbert a call?

Ox
- Jo Bucci's holidays have to avoid clashing with the Chief Exec's & Chairmans, and she was back at work this week, this is a non-issue
- For the 100th time, Enge isn't interested, he has been asked more than once.

He is merely stating that selling the club might be the only viable option in trying to improve things, I don't believe Bobby states anywhere in his post that the club should be sold to just anybody.

Why do the FT always have to be so damning of any view that differs from the party line.

Who is to say the club would end up in the wrong hands.....how about somebody like Martin George returning to take over the club.

not having a go at you FT but it not working is it :102:

After 2 games no, but it's a 46 game season.

Rob will have to review his first choice 11, be interesting to see who starts on Saturday given the difference more attacking minded wingers made in the latter part of the game.

find someone willing to invest money in the club but that wont as they are can only buy a smell % of the club and no one with an real money would do that and lose money from buying into our much love club

I don't understand why there is cap on investment from any one investor. Can the FT explain why?

It's not a party line, it's realism.

There seems to be a belief by some fans that there is a queue of potential buyers lined up, there isn't.

We know much of this is grasping at straws as it hurts us all watch poor performances.

The current board would look at serious offers & then the shareholders would decide, we know this because we have asked the direct question.

Yes it was done for the right reasons at that time. To prevent one investor being able to take over the club, it was felt this protected the club from the 'Risdales' of this world.

Even with that cap, it does not prevent any new investor putting in £500k or many of the existing ones upping their stakes to that level.

However only the Foxes Trust has continued to invest on an annual basis, a couple of other shareholders have increased their stake too.

Funny that - a similar question was asked about Bill Anderson earlier in the day.

It's not the FT's role to pick the team or the role of the Foxes_Trust username on message boards.

Individual Trust board members can post under their own usernames giving their views on this kind of thing and individual opinions on games are posted as match reports but are clearly marked as 'reporters own views only'

Thanks FT. Do you think that has prevented any existing shareholders investing over and above the cap? Would there ever be the chance for the cap to be removed but continue with the current style of management?

I'm an aspiring millionaire you see.
