We are sniffing around Sheff Wed midfielder Glenn Whelan.

I have been told he's a very good player. He's out of contract at end of the season, so maybe Wednesday might look for a cut-price deal but because he's under 24, they will still receive compo if he joins us at the end of his deal.

My mate's an Owls fan and he says this lad is good.

Agreed, and from what I can gather he is another tough tackling one too. But if he is available at a decent price I think, with his age and ability, he would be a worthy addition.
