Exactly, and if Megson did throw in one of Stearman, Kenton, Kish or say Chambers he would be villified for yet more square pegs in round holes.

But it is just another excuse for the Megson is a cnut brigrade to have another pop at him.

Why on earth would he be villified for playing centre halves at centre half :102:

eh?

So..he is stupid for wanting to bring in a fourth central defender when we only have 3 and we play with 3 centre halves?

We are desperately short in other areas. Yes i agree. We will also be desperate for a third centre half when (not if) Kisnorbo, N'Gotty and Mcauley are suspended/injured because we havn't got another who could hold there own there on a regular basis.

What makes you think he is after only one player? He quite clearly isn't.

t's all about priorities, what's the point splashing the cash on a central defender when everyone knows that there are at least 4 positions of more importance. Especially when we are led to believe that he will only be bringing in 2/3 players innitially anyway.

Because IMO Kenton, Stearman and Kish are more full backs now who can cover at centre half not out and out centre halfs, and that has been the biggest problem over the last few years we have filled our squads full of utility players who are adequate at best in a variety of positions rather than specialists who excel in one.

Bill is the old bloke that somtimes walks the ballboys around before the game he is the one that recruits new players to the club

So it's not Mandaric or Allen then who is to blame for the shite signings of the summer it is in fact Bill the Ball Boy Man :icon_lol:

It seems he is only there for a month. Worth an attempt to hire him? :102: From the BBC. ;)

Kavanagh wants to stay with Owls

Kavanagh is enjoying his loan spell at Hillsborough
Sunderland midfielder Graham Kavanagh says that he would like to extend his stay at Sheffield Wednesday.
Kavangah's initial one-month loan deal from the Black Cats runs out after the game against Stoke on 20 October.

The 33-year-old told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I feel I'm getting stronger all the time and starting to stamp my influence games.

"If Wednesday ask me to stay and Sunderland allow it then I'd like to stay because I've enjoyed it here."

Not a rumour but a message and a plea to Megson and Milan, if you are truly serious about bringing quality to the club then pick up the phone and persuade Christian Vieri to sign for the club.

Quality striker who would really kick start the season and has the physical presence to cope in the championship, FFS if Hull can be interested then surely we have a chance :102:

Please tell me you are having a laugh.
