He's not saying that.

He is saying, I think, that they are doing a good job but need to be scoring more goals. He is also saying that he appreciates this is tough for them while he is playing with wing-backs.

as we haven't been playing a midfield he could argue that the midfield haven't been making the same mistakes, the mistakes from our back line will increase now that it stands at around 8 players a game

Do we really need another young left back looking to gain experience? We already have two who are ok. If we are going for a left back then someone with experience would be useful to replace Clarke.
