if time is up then the ref should blow for full time regardless of where the ball is..the 4th official took an age to put the board for how long should be added on we mustve played a minutes injury time before he pulled his finger out :icon_roll
Glad to see it takes a yorkshire lass to talk sense.

Disagree with you there, if it's time it's time no matter where the ball is. Just because they were on the attack doesn't mean the ref can't blow his whistle. Mowbray was just bitter he didn't win the game and decried our tactics after the game. Agree with you Rennie was a disgrace to the art of refereeing. In the first half you would have thought there was twelve men in black, at half time he realised he wasn't in black but still didn't improve much.

There is being on the attack and having a player clean through on goal just about to pull the trigger.
I am not completely disagreeing with you as Rennie had already gone over the injury time that had been shown, I am just saying that if it had been the other way round we would all be going spare just as Mowbray is/was and we were lucky he blew when he did, he should have blown when their keeper kicked the ball up field moments earlier.

Does anyone else remember the premiership game involving wimbledon ( I think) where the ref blew the whistle as the ball was in mid air after one side had taken a corner. One of the attackers then put the ball in the net and the goal didn’t stand?

I thought that the ref actaully blow his whistle before there player headed it into Kameras path.
The commentor said something like 'and the ref blow his whistle...now' But that was well after the whistle had actually been blown. If you listen to the whistle instead of the commentor. Guess it gives them something to talk about through.

anyways...if times up, times up.

dont forget ITV love west brom:icon_lol:

Well after watching the highlights kindly provided by Dour. What a load of biased crap. Hughes chances not shown but Ellington's attempt to take out Melton for moaning in the Family Stand with a wayward shot shown.
It still missed me, If you take a diagonal from the corner flag, I'm a few rows back on the barrier to the West Stand
