the ref didnt help their passing. they were just more creative than we were. we cant create shit in the final 3rd its a bit embarasing really. we did have the chance to create, however Levi cant beat a man, he tries crossing infront of him and every time it hits the player.

thats fine but he shouldnt be playing his first full season if he cant beat his man or deliver a cross should he

but the ref was giving them plenty of free kicks so in effect he was helping their passing but they did pass it about quite well which is what you kind of expect when there are in the top 2...thought levi didnt do too bad in the 2nd half their right back was crap..bit like ours really

who else can we play then?????? and for the record he has beaten plenty of men this season, what about the fulham game?

Although i'm not a Levi fan (i just don't think he'll ever make it), i think its a bit harsh to single him out.

Plus, Hughes had two chances, Jarrets in the first half, Kisnorbos header in the second. I wouldn't say that was embarrasing. In fact, if you think about how we were playing 10 games ago and the few chances we were creating then we've done quiet well!
Also, WBA are top of the league!
 
550lI dont know, maybe i am being overly critical, i just dont think we have one great footballer who is worthy of holding down a first team place week in week out at any other club apart from Paddy K. I honestly do think our team is shite. And by the way i always used to be someone who stuck up for the players and pointed out their good sides, i just cant with the current crop. they are mostly misfits who to be honest dont deserve to play at this level. But as i said, i maybe overly critical?

I personally believe Saturday's performance is as good as you'll get out of this current crop.
 
You are right, you are being overly critical. Saturday was an excellent team effort. Only Hughes looked out of place and therefore does not 'deserve to play at this level'. Even Maybury had some good spells and I generally think Maybury is shite.
Do not confuse good enough to play at this level with 'If we got promoted would this team be good enough to compete in the Prem?'. To which the obvious answer is, almost certainly not.
This team, with present form and spirit can beat anyone in this league and are certainly good enough to compete. Next season with a few extra better players, we should piss on the lot of them!
When the Holiday Inn roof blew off, I thought thank God because Brum would murder us. Not now. I expect us to beat Brum in April.

Yeh, 'as good as you'll get', basically the best they have to offer.
A West Brom what overplayed the ball and had 3 golden chances in the first half. I believe the current the league positioning is correct for us with the correct squad but with the division as competitive as it is, it only takes a small amount of belief and confidence to get into The Top 10.
