He is seriously ill and in intensive care yet according to the TV news reports he has been having a stream of 'celeb' visitors.

My father-in-law was in hospital recently with heart problems and it was strictly close family only and no more than two at a time.

Fabrice Muamba "has been able to recognise family members and respond to questions appropriately", his club Bolton and hospital have jointly said.
He can "breathe independently" but remains in intensive care after a cardiac arrest on Saturday.
