i thought we were excellent today, played some real nice football for a change, the hungaraians were at times technically brilliant.

its the first time in yonks that i have walked away from the ground and thought we were bloody good.

my only gripe was the full backs stearman and mattock, got exposed at times especially stearman, who was unsure at times with his distrubution

I thought the Hungarians were a breathe of fresh air.....Players that were willing to take people on, a bit of silky skill and not affraid to have a shot, not to mention a cracking mullet that i'm sure must have given him whiplash with a few wayward headers!

Zsolts looks a very good player and when Bori gets use to leicester and masters the lingo i think he will be a very good player. Both put some quality crosses in but our strikers were not prepared for them, i think Hume is still in shock.

why will he improve once he learns to speak english.........:102:

Olly said watched video of Weller and Glover and was how football should be.No pressure then to emulate the best player ive ever seen in a leicester shirt (Weller) and the talismatic winger that Glover was.And yes i am an old bastrd but memorys live forever

I like playing chess against them. It's always my move next. :icon_bigg

At the end of the day he is only a kid...no matter how much talent he might have he lacks 1st team experience...if we play him it will come...still pretty riskey imo loaning a youth team goal keeper in are current situation...but then again veteran keepers at not always the answer either ( RAB for example)

I'm mates with a few spurs fans who al rate him very highly, all of them have said he's better than Fulop, and their interpretation is he's here for the year then back to the lane to compete for the no1 spot. soon see once he's had a couple of games to get back into it

But that's only because he was having problems with the chairman, whoever he was...

Redknapp has no scruples at all,I detest the bloke and can't for the life of me see what he has done to be held in such high esteem by all and sundry. And has for him even being considered for the England job......:icon_lol::081::icon_lol::081:

I was impressed with both of the Hungarian lads.

Bori had a strong debut, he didn't do anything spectacular, but what he did was good enough. He looks like he needs a bit of time to adapt over here.

Laczko was fantastic, he along with Oakley had 2 of the best debuts I've seen in a City shirt in a long time, he thoroughly deserved his standing ovation when he came off. He is the kind of player we have been crying out for for so long IMO.
