Reports in the press are suggesting that Chelsea are now looking at Peter Crouch.

Auntie Carol being injured is pretty much a given. The surprise is that him being injured would be the thing to scupper a move to Chelsea.

If Chelsea really are going down that route Crouch is a much better bet than Carroll anyway, being that he is a pretty decent footballer not just a fragile battering ram. Bet they wish they hadn't pissed off Costa now.
