What annoys me is the arrogance of Arsenal. As if we would be interested in their cast offs. If they’re not good enough for you Arsenal then they’re not good enough for us. It’s the old story of little old Leicester should be so grateful for letting us have some of their stars. Tossers.

We have previously made enquiries for Nelson and Maitland-Niles so it does kind of make sense.

We don't want either of them now obviously but there was a time.

I didn't say that he was near their level. I said he would strengthen Arsenal massively. He would. There is no doubt about that whatsoever.

He is somewhat of a pantomime villain at times with some folk here. Let's be clear, he's a grade A dickhead most of the time off the pitch but he's fantastic on it. His stats are part of the evidence for this. All this talk about him being crap for most of the season is utter scrotum cheese.
I think it’s fair to say he shows glimpses of brilliance, his highlight reel is fantastic. I think he deserves his critics also, there have been many a game where he has been a passenger, probably due to injury problems and return to fitness but I don’t feel this will hurt us anywhere near our previous sales could have.
Also Arsenal have far more problems in their club, Maddison will help but he isn’t going to propel them into the top 4.
Sell Maddison and sign Asensio and Bailey sounds gorgeous… I’m dreaming and not saying it will happen but for me there are plenty of players in the transfer market that can help us progress without Maddison.
I also think BR is going to commit to Soumare Ndidi Tielemans midfield. Which makes Maddison’s position a little trickier to accommodate.
Edit: never mind about the Bailey

Not sure Villa will sell Bailey to us

Me and pop do this every summer. Last year we argued exactly the opposite as I rated Chilwell and he didn't.

Can't wait for next years exciting instalment.
It'll be how shite/brilliant Daka is.

I still love you though you smashing bunch of lads.

He's shite, get rid.

“One year left on his deal, he’s a bomb scare, we should take the 30 million, Tarkowski is a ready made replacement. We can take the money and reinvest in a right winger”

“He’s Turkeys captain and has great pace and strength. With Evans retiring we need the experience. We should give him a 5 year deal and build the team around him. We can’t keep selling our best players after losing Maddison last year”

Looks like Grealish is going to Manchester for £100m. While I don't think Maddison is as good, he's much better than the comparative price of £60m
Grealish has routinely changed games for Villa and England. I think JM is a million miles off being the same player and to a degree, the fact they're even being compared at this point is somewhat ridiculous.

I suppose they're both idiots off the pitch though.

He is potentially a fantastic player. But the majority of the time he performs well below that level.
He can't beat the first man from a corner. Wait until they offer £70M and snatch their hand off.
