If we sell two players who weren’t involved in the first team squad, we need to replace them. Why?
 
If you take them out of the 25 then we are thin for alternative senior forwards in the 25 and at some point in the match squad.
 
FFS we need replacements who can actually play football. It's not hard to see we are thin in the areas they play in

we could already have those replacements in house to be fair, depends how Thomas develops and if Amartey/Benkovic stay fit and perform when picked or if Josh Knight keeps developing well
 
Leicester Mercury Greatness taken from a Leicester fan posted elsewhere

The Leicester Mercury are running a story about Jesse Lingard to us based on nothing more than Trevor Sinclair saying the following:
“There’s a club where I feel he would suit the manager’s ethos,” he said.

“Leicester City; I think he could fit into Brendan Rodgers’ style of play, getting in between the lines, he’s got great energy and, technically, he’s very good.”

The major issue with this, aside from the obvious, is that I was listening to Sinclair as this comment was made whilst he was commentating on Talksport and he was actually talking about Dele Alli. So well done Leicester Mercury. You shitrag.

Yes. The article links us, but I can’t see it. It amused me though, that Marseille were saying they might consider selling him for that figure, given he’ll be available on a Bosman in the summer.
 
Inter have all but announced they will sell Christian Eriksen, I think he'd be an improvement over Maddison but wouldn't be a priority either
