Said no one ever.

Like I say, you know **** all about the plans we have in place and the things that need to happen to action them.

Still, we haven't spent money on shit no one has heard of in the first week of the window so, guess we're relegated with Dyche around the corner.
Similarly you also know **** all. So I’m not sure what the source of your confidence in our recruitment team that thought Vestergaard was a wonderful purchase is.

Correct. Which is why I'm not pissing my pants about it or convincing myself that everything is rosey. I'm, you know, looking at the facts. Unheard of, I know.

We have a different person in charge of recruitment now by the way.

Another barnstorming post though.

I try my best.

Has someone shit in your bed or something? You’ve been sniping at a few specific posters for a couple of months now?

It's been years.

It's not the poster but the post. Don't take this nonsense personally, it's opinions on football.

What is actually going on with Leicester City and King Power? Is it:-

1. That they think we are doing fine, love Rodgers, have no anxiety whatsoever;
2. That they care profoundly about financial fair play, despite no other club seemingly giving a flyer;
3. They want to invest but they are in big trouble financially;
4. They want to invest but they don’t want Rodgers to spend the money because frankly it’s been crap so far;
5. They think the existing team can perform much better and have faith in Rodgers;
6. They can’t afford even to get rid of Rodgers so we are where we are.

It’s one or more of these.

KP are owned by the Srivaddhanaprabha family, not Top. The shares in LCFC are spread around the family too although Top has the largest share.

It wouldn't surprise me if KP are financially stuck. Since Vichai died, the company has nose-dived and Covid battered them. Does anyone in the family other than Top want to see their family spend money on the thing that resulted in Vichai's death? It's not as if any other members of the family ever come here.

I think it's likely that the family are not prepared to allow Top to do anything to support the club finances. Otherwise, why do we keep taking out huge loans with that dodgy Australian bank?

Add to all that, our squad is full. We need to move players out. The wage bill is unsustainable as it is without signing more players. And we spent well over £100m on Seagrave on the never-never. That's still got to be paid for.

It's a total mess. If Top isn't trying to either sell the club or get some financial backers in to share the risk, he's a madman.

I see him as the incompetent son of a millionaire who was never remotely qualified for the role he is currently in. Obviously there were extenuating circumstances. But when his father passed away he should not have been allowed to take control of Leicester City. We are paying the lack of an adequate succession plan. And obviously I realize that the tragic event of his father’s accident was sudden. But still.
