What a fantastic away following by Leeds. Ours would probably have been a bit higher this season coming than last season if we had stayed up, seeing as we would have had a lot more local trips - Forest, Derby, Brum etc.

It's been mentioned on the Cardiff messageboard too.
That figure does not include the FA Cup (60k+ to Wembley and nearly 4k to Middleborough) which tended to drain most fans resources. We are also restricted on the numbers we are allowed to take to many grounds (especially WBA) due to some reputation or other. :102:

Next season if we took up our allocation for each away game we would only average 2323,

if we are doing well tickets could be hard to come by for the last 3 away games next season at Hereford, Southend and Crewe

You are forgotting extended allocations at the likes of Huddersfield, Oldham for Leeds. Then Swansea and Forest's allocations must have helped Leeds achieve that figure.

Leeds figure will have been boosted by their visit to Port Vale. Huge away end there.

As you say some other away ends can be extended ala Oldham..
