I heard 'the palace' sing it at Selhurst a couple of seasons ago. I remember it being stuck in my head for days after. As much as i dont really chant much these days, it does create a cracking atmosphere and is one for the drummers

It's not the KC and Sunshine Band song. It is based on the Little Peggy March song (which spion linked to above), which was in turn based on a French language song by Petula Clark named 'Chariots'.
