AIK Solna have confirmed they are in talks with Leicester City defender Nils-Eric Johansson.

Johansson is currently considering his options, as he is out of contract at Leicester this summer and has yet to agree a new deal.

His agent revealed earlier this month that there had been offers from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, as well as another Championship club.

Swedish club AIK have already contacted Johansson, and are set to hold further negotiations with the player over the next few days.

"There is still an interest and we will have further contact next week," AIK sports director Ola Andersson told Sportbladet.
