Shall we have a service station sweepstake? I'm guessing he got off for a piss at Burtonwood then refused to leave KFC. Starbucks closes at 10pm though so someone knowledgeable may have a better guess.

You ****, you know he likes airport lounges.

Luton it is.

I wouldn’t worry about getting a replacement in until the summer. No need to panic buy and better to take a considered approach. Sad to see Mahrez go but it’s inevitable in the hierarchy of football that players will leave Leicester to join bigger clubs. We had 18mths notice and I’ll be surprised if the replacement isn’t already lined up.

They've upped their bid to £55m.
And again we haven't blinked and told them to feck off again.

Leicester hold all the cards here. They don't want to sell. They don't have to sell. Mahrez still has 2½ years left on his contract. Maybe he has a sulk and under performs again, but he'll get over it. Just like he did last time. After all he's only ruining any chance of eventually getting a move if he under performs. The club might have to seriously consider any bids in the summer though, as then he'll have less than 2 years left on his contract. From that point on his value will start to diminish.

If they're 'upping' their bid by minus £4M at a time they may not make the transfer deadline.

Surely Mahrez is a better player/option than Van Dijk who has just gone for £75m?

Personally, I rate Mahrez as highly as Coutinho. He's certainly well beyond this sort of shitehouse offer:

We should offer £10m for De Bruyne and see how those wankers like it. Mahrez is a much better player than either Sane or Sterling.

It's all about brinkmanship now, over the price

But at the end of all the horse trading shite over the next 24 hours, he's gone

And that's tragic

If LCFC want to put this to bed, why do they not simply put out a statement saying ‘This club will not consider any bids for Mahrez below £100million, so do not waste your fax or email or our time on any smaller bid”.
