I'm warming to Mahrez fetching us an ungodly sum and then Diabate outscoring him for the rest of the season. 5000-1?

Oh good I feel much better. That said I do think we may have a gem in Diabate.

The best midfield player I have ever seen in the blue shirt.

Having said that, I’m a bit bored with it all now and he isn’t bigger than the club.

We will be 5% less effective without him but there should be a few players dying to fill the void his exit will create.

I can’t believe we will be better without him but this uncertainty is disruptive.

Take £80 million and all the best from me Riyad.

Agreed, and we'll always have Paris

I actually think we’ll be more like 25% less effective without him. He seems to be at the centre of most good things we do.
Look at where we were last season when he was way off the pace... I realise it’s not a one man team, far from it, but I think he is crucial to our team.

£50m + Delph + Foden is what id ask for
And see how they like that.

You can't spend what will take them to circa £350m in a season and pretend that you are winning things on merit. Or that you in any way have a sustainable business. Wankers.
Why Delph? He’s a dodgy left-back at best and not good enough to get in our midfield.

Perhaps they care only about winning things, and not about whether fans of other clubs think it is on merit or not.

If we had the money and could largely attract whoever we wanted we would spend it too.

Transfer fees are, for the purposes of accounting, spread over the length of the contract so signing a player for £60m on a 4 year deal only adds £15m to their costs, well within the range of a club like Many City's
FFP constraints.

Has he gone yet?

He could be playing against us in just over a week.

He's just parked up at Knutsford services with a pack up and a flask of coffee

He's not going to get caught out looking a complete twonk in an airport lounge again

I would accept £75m and Bernado Silva on loan to the end of the season.

I worry about Riyad's effort through to the end of the season if we keep hold of him and would prefer to remember the Riyad of the first half of this season and the title winning season.

I also think Bernardo Silva is potentially a really good player.

Reports now saying we've set our asking price at £70m.

If that's true (big IF) then I'd expect this to happen... If they've already gone to £59m apparently then £70m isn't too far for them to go I would've thought.
