I know, I over indulged on sugar free polos once, never again!

On another point, after last season I don't think Fryatt is the only one who needs to prove himself at Championship level, at least in a City shirt. All those who took us down need to prove they can cut it this time, and even Pearson needs to prove he can manage at the next level for more than the few games he had at Southampton

How many is too many?

There are 4 reasons why Fryatt will never be up the standard worthy of the sort of deluded praise he's receiving in this thread.

blah blah blah blah blah

Miserable fecker. Yes it's a shitty League but we were in it, and came out on top so just once let's wallow in the moment and give kudos where it's due, whether or not you think certain players may or may not be good enough next season. After all, we are still in THIS season.......

If you want to avoid Anusol - less than half a tube. And believe me, I've seen them made. I was loose over the smell alone. And that was only from the windbreaks from the workers.

:)

Hahaha, I use to love those yellow sugar free polos. And chewing gum, they play havok with your bowels though.:tumbleweed:

I've heard aspargus is bad for the wind too. A colleague swears by it, we swear at it.

Fryatt can score goals in Division One he has proved that with ourselves and Walsall.Whether he can do that in the Championship remains to be seen,it's a bit unfair to judge him on the Relegation season because by all accounts he wasn't fit and he never had a decent partner alongside him.I'm undecided on whether he is just a Division One player or better than that and approach next season with an open mind regards Fryatt, one thing is for sure though..we need competion/cover for both Fryatt and more so Howard.Dickov,Hayles etc are not anywhere near good enough.

I meant more the type of player.I think I remember saying that Howard and Fryatt would make a decent partnership upfront,it no doubt got lost in all the other bullshit I've said though

My personal view about Fryatt is that he fully deserves a chance to prove himself in the Championship once again after having a great season for us in League 1.

He didn't really do it last season or the season before but neither did anyone else up front and that was down to one thing: NO SERVICE. The lack of service given to our strikers was completely terrible.

And I do remember Fryatt scoring a few in his first half-season at the club when he signed in the January under Levein. He looked like a very good acquisition and good enough for that level.

I don't think we should rely on him or Howard but I think another two good quality Championship strikers and we have four players I'd feel happy to play up front if and when we need them. The same cannot be said this season as if either Howard or Fryatt were out - we had to rely on Dickov or Hayles and quite frankly, they aint good enough anymore.

The teams that do well or get promoted from the Championship tend to have at least 4 decent Strikers.Take Wolves this season and West Brom the season before.

We're OK then - Hayles, Dickov, Campbell, Chambers........

I'm not sure if Fryatt has the quality to score 20+ in the Championship but after this season he deserves a chance.
