In terms of development and contribution? Delph has become an integral part of the Leeds side and has looked comfortable in this league most of the times I've seen him.

Mattock on the other hand hasn't really shone at all this season and has looked a little out of his depth at times IMO. Sure, he's got potential, but I think he's got a long way to go before he realises that potential.

I'd be amazed if a prem club came in for him and if they did he'd surely just be loaned straight back out or left in the reserves. I think he'd be better off staying here.

I thought Delph was rubbish at The Walkers. Even fluffed their best chance. Mattock is only 18 - Give the lad a chance.

So on a couple of minutes highlights and a sky game you conclude that Delph has been consistant?

Mattock has played 35 games for us this season, which I would say is a pretty integral part of the team. I think you are probably going more on the "buzz" surrounding Delph than anything.

To WALSHIESTACKLE: I am, I'm just saying he's done nothing really this season to justify himself as a hot prospect for some premiership club. Delph's had a good season and you could see a premiership club maybe taking a chance with him.

I think given a few seasons Mattock will begin to develop into a quality player, but he needs time.

Admittedly I've only seen a snapshot of what he's like, I just think Delph has shown on the occasions I've seen him that he might be able to live up to the hype surrounding him. Mattock on the other hand hasn't shown much signs of living up to his potential this season. Just my opinion.

And a potentially valid one too. I appear to be in the minority but I think Mattock has appeared solid at the back and got forward when needed well, with a good cross on him.

I agree that Delph has a lot of hype and media coverage surrounding him and Mattock might have been more consistent throughout the season. However, for him to be truly ready for the Premiership he should have shone for us this season like Dyer, Fryatt, Howard, Hobbs, Tunchev, King etc. These players have all played better the Mattock this season, would you say any of them will be snapped up by a Prem club?

It would be interesting to see what his average TB rating has been throughout the season. I would be very surprised if he was anywhere near the top 5.

It makes sense for Kisnorbo to be going. Otherwise signing Brown and hopefully Hobbs to play alongside Tunchev (not forgetting the admirable Morrison) we would become centreback united.
No manager seems to be that keen on Hendo. He only ended up in the team last season because Ben Alnwick played so badly.
I would like to mention an unsung hero. My heart sank when David Martin went off to be replaced by Carl Pentney. It must have been a trememendous occasion for the lad and I thought he played well. It may be that he will never play another Leicester game but when he was called upon he did himself proud.

We have seen glimpses of mattock's talent especially when he gets forward, though he gets "skinned" to much for my liking

I was not in tears then! Just gutted I won't get any more topless piccies!:icon_razz

Yes Howard won the SC Player of the Year.
Fryatt won the Disabled SC Player of the Year.
Max won Goal of the Season with his free kick at MK Dons.
Hobbs won Young Player of the Year(chosen by the management staff)

And some tall ginger kid won Academy Player of the Year.

Howard wasn't there to collect his award cos of this virus thingy he;s had all weekend, so Oakley collected it on his behalf.

Kisnorbo said he won't have his ocntracted renewed as he 'isn't good enough'.

Also found out(from later on) that ickle Joe will piss off to the first Prem club that comes in for him.

Hendo is off back to Oz, he's been fit most of the season apparently:icon_conf so not exactly happy about all the loan keepers thath ave been here.

Got a couple of photos signed- Kisnorbo "I look quite buff there don't I" as he signed his topless pic.

Got lots of photos but will upload them all tonight.

BG's kids seemed to have a great time!

Lots of the youngster are very tall and very skinny.
Jack Hobbs is lovely, he didn't mind having his photos took four times with BG's kids cos some silly bint(ahem) couldn't work the camera.

Don't know what aftershave Morrison had on but he smelled good enough to eat! So did Oakley,

I am rather pleased that Beaumont Fox is not in charge of scouting for the club.

And what would be wrong with having 11 blokes in the team who look rather nice with no top on eh eh?

So what if they were rubbish at football:icon_razz

Oh yeah , and a text from Teeno who was out with the majority of the players afterwards(at a strip club tsk) and Stearman was there with them, not happy at Wolves apparently.

Is Stearman ever happy you wonder? In one season he's gone from L1 to the Prem for goodness sake!

Stearman was there, not happy at Wolves apparently.

Stearman made his choice. He'll have to live with it. Another one that thinks more of himself than he does about loyalty to any club.

i know he didn't play in the QPR game, but was he being left out consistently?

Dunno, would have to go and ask wolves fans.....the ones I know were quite happy with him around Christmastime, he'd been playing well for them up til then. Don't know about the second half the season though.

I had heard via Jessel (his mates a Wolves fan) that Stearman was having a good season.

He's made 34 appearances for them this season, 5 as a sub. So he's been a regular. I can't find anything that suggests he's been injured of late, so has just fallen out of favour I guess?

Maybe McCarthy has heard he is un happy :102:
