I think he would consider it, yes. But it would depend on MM's deal.

We are about to really see the cut of Mandy's jib IMO.

I think we are left with the bottom of the barrel. Those that are desperate to leave smaller clubs for a sniff of the big time or someone out of work (and even then only those that wont possibly have bigger fish to fry).

The next appointment will be a 'who?' appointment IMO. Don't expect anyone you would have ever swapped Holloway for.

All I want is somebody who's gonna batter the players!!!!

They shouldn't need much coaching in this league, they were some of the best players in The Championship, so we should piss this league.

We just need somebody to shove a rocket up their arses and keep them fit.

The BBC mentioned Lambert was one of the favourites,thats it.

Exactly the same was reported on the TalkSport football update at 10:00 as an afterthought to the 'Holloway gone' story.

I am not so sure you're right. People like money, end of.

So Grayson has now become our biggest hope??

Our choice of managers seems to be between someone who has managed Blackpool for 2 years and someone whos managed Wycombe and Livingstone. Sad times indeed.

Exactly the same was reported on the TalkSport football update at 10:00 as an afterthought to the 'Holloway gone' story.

I expect Mandaric's informers will tell him that Lambert will not be a popular appointment after looking on here so thats him out the running Is name is being mentioned because he resigned earlier this week,thats the only reason..there is no other.

O'Neill had previously worked for Wycombe - but he did not come from Wycombe.

For it to count as a sign, Lambert would have to spend a few months at Norwich first.

I don't like him,thats half of the problem.You lot want someone you like rather than someone who is good at his job.Its too earlier to say whether Lambert is the right man but unlike Penney etc he's unexposed,its a gamble he could be awful but he could be brilliant.Penney will never be brilliant he's a Div 1 manager at best.Lambert is not my preffered choice I would rather it be Newell but seeing has the bloke down the chippy in Hinckley has told you that he will never work in football again then I'd go for Cotterill (even if he has got the same silly accent has Holloway)
