Clearly there is an imbalance. But instead of just saying "there is definitely racism" has anyone actually looked at the numbers of black managers who actually want management roles? If that is a similar percentage, then surely the numbers are reflective of the market.

The argument is that they are being disillusioned by lack of support.

Absolutely. A decrepit old fool proves your argument just like this proves mine: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30003191

Or maybe neither prove a thing?

Actually no, Mawlsey's does prove that there is racism in football. It doesn't prove that it's endemic or that it's the reason that black managers aren't more prevalent but it does prove that it exists. It is eve more concerning that the investigation into Mackay is taking so long and Wigan seem confident he'll get off lightly.

What a ****ing prick trying to stir up a storm when there isn't one to be had.

To say they were both sack down to the colour of their skin is ludicrous, especially when one of the 'BME' managers was sacked by a 'BME' chairman whose 'BME' sporting/footballing director agreed it was the best decision for the club.

That guy needs to be removed from his position saying stuff like this and the FA having a 'BME' boss just creates more of a problem that solving a perceived one that does not exist.

It's just the best man gets the job. Simples.

I reckon it's all that MBE BME DOF at QPR to blame. He's now the caretaker, the big racist.

What a an absolute plonker

Seems he wants more tokenism
