In which case buy them a puppy and then stove its ****ing head in on day two to teach them the life lesson that death could be lurking just around the corner and you don't always expect it.....

They've got plenty of time to learn 'life's lessons'. In the meantime, let them have a 10p bag of Haribo without PierscuntificationMorganising it.
10p bag of Haribo? You flash ****. That’s the liberal elite for you

We used to get an individual fruit salad, sometimes it would be a flapjack. Makes me wish my parents had been more withholding.

*blackjack, not flapjack. Disgusting.

I found some hiding in the cupboard so I sent it to Rwanda
You sent a cupboard to Rwanda? That must have been expensive!

Only thing that costs 10p these days is a blowy off homer.

in 1959/1960 they were a farthing each. What can you get for a farthing now adays?

Fruit salads, apple jacks etc are probably £10 each now. They were your change when i was a lad as were still only 1p. A childhood memory that still cracks me up is all about them Apple Jack things. my mate wasn't able to get his scran from the corner shop due to breaking his arm so another friend kindly offered to get it for him (normal 1 in 1 out thing for school kids) but took a feckin age to get back. His order was 4 or 5 things and then instead of getting change just ask for the small change left over in apple Jack chews. He managed to forget half the order and game out with a pocket with about 130 apple jacks in. No actual food other than a bag of space raiders and shitloads of chews.

Yeah, I'm old enough to remember them for a farthing, I think still 4 for a penny when farthings were withdrawn (1961?). I used to spend my collection box money on them when sent off to church Sunday School.
