Stat in the Times today said that when we've been leading at half time this season we've won every game, but we've yet to win a game that we weren't leading at half time.

Ick. Can we get some sort of rule against posting clickbait?
This whole 11-different-pages just to make more cash advertising is a really irritating way of making money.

If you don't like them then don't click them. Some people don't have your hangups.

I think most people don't like those clickbaity type articles though. You'd prefer to have all that on one page I'm sure?

I'd prefer it if people posted any relevant information here, instead of expecting us to click through pages of ads to see whatever waste of time it is they're linking to. Not singling out anyone in particular here, lots of people do it. I usually don't bother clicking when I recognise the site as being one that's low on content and high on ads..

Noted.

I do and I only bother c licking the ones I think worthwhile.

I think it best that people briefly describe what they are linking to, and perhaps even summarise the main points.

A lot of people post links with no indication what it is to (in the news thread for example) and I never click them.

It wouldn't have taken long to name the Leicester players that were included in the worst XI for example and then a link to the source.

I don't think you could make it a rule, and delete posts that don't conform, but it would make it more likely that people will pay attention and engage in conversation on the subject.

Ditto. It takes little effort to cut and paste just a little of the relevant text, or attempt a brief summary or note of what the link contains.

There's a number of sites that accumulate/aggregate the stories and I prefer to avoid them. They really are click bait and they'll post any old crap and call it news.
